My dad loved elections. He voted every chance he got and when asked whom he voted for, he’d get a gleam in his eye. Pause. And then answer “The Winner!” When I’m asked whom I’ve voting for this year, I have a different answer: “2040.”
I’m voting for 2040 in this election. No – that’s not a typo. I’m thinking about how my choice will shape what we do over the next twenty years in response to our biggest challenge: the climate crisis.
