Under Al Gore’s leadership, the Climate Reality Project (CRP) has trained more than 20,000 community leaders around the world. Growing Greener has worked with local CRP leaders to combine their materials with Growing Greener’s techniques. Workshop participants leave energized and committed to a specific next climate action step.
Juli R., a CRP Local Leader in Pennsylvania, started working with Growing Greener by buying 10 decks to use in her community workshops. She soon bought another ten and used the decks in her work with high school classes, as well.
When COVID-19 made in-person workshops impossible, Juli reached out to Growing Greener. We shared our online tools, including our online climate card sort, and Juli used them in a Zoom webinar with community members. The results:
